In past years Tim was a much valued member of the great team which looked after the maintenance of Birmingham Hillel House. His sudden death was a real shock and I express sincere condolences to his family and friends

Tim, you made such an impact on my life and James and Rob. You were so full of energy and ran at everything with zest, finding solutions was your motto, problems tossed aside lol. James has followed in your footsteps and is also now a 'gas man' loving his work as you showed him how. I will miss knowing you were here but do know you will be there watching out for all those you cared for with passion. Fly high lovely man xxx

Tim My workmate and best friend of over 40 years. A grafter, a brilliant worker, great workmanship his customers certainly got their money's worth with him on the job. Tim was also a master at solving problems he solved a few for me over the years. Tim was like part of our family and was well liked by our children grandson's and their families. Tim would regularly pop in after work for a cuppa or two and a chat about work, bikes and family sometimes he would say how much work he had on and Sue and l would tell him to slow down a bit but not Tim he would do his very best to please all his customers. Having said that Tim was Happy working. Tim was a true friend and l will miss him so much he will always be remembered and never forgotten. Love you mate. My bathroom saviour, you must have dreaded the messages from me that said “Tim can you fit me a new bathroom”! The most hardworking man I’ve ever met, never once rolling your eyes at me when I changed my mind ( again) about the colour of the walls or when I’d forgotten to buy the grey grout. You were amazing. Who will I trust now? Thank you for being the dad that my best friend deserved, I’m just sorry you had to leave so soon xx

Tim you helped us more than you can know when we bought our first house , and we are forever grateful. Not only were you our most trusted and valued builder but you became our friend and we miss you popping in for a chat , telling us your many funny stories and enquiring about our very shy cat who took a shine to you alone. We will never forget the day we rang you a panic because the bed we ordered was too big for our bedroom - you were round in a flash to put it right - even cutting the memory foam down to size with an electric bread knife. We did all laugh. A more honest , hardworking and thoroughly decent chap is hard to find. Rest in peace now Tim and don’t do too much work up there! Until we see you again, your friends Lou and Josh (and Pablo the cat) x

Our thoughts are with you all for your loss. We know what a great loss it is to all the family. A harder working individual such as Tim will be very hard to find. RIP Tim.
